The Oceanfront Inn offers 10 ocean-facing rooms. Deluxe rooms feature a choice of one king bed or two queen beds, large sliding glass doors to a private ocean view balcony, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, free Wi-Fi, a mini-refrigerator, a microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker. The Admiral's Quarters, located on the third floor, include a vaulted ceiling, skylight, unobstructed ocean views, and a Jacuzzi tub. The Beach House Apartment includes a king bedroom, a sofa-sleeper, a full kitchen, large glass windows facing the ocean, and a furnished deck with a BBQ.
Onsite Dining
The property features an onsite restaurant serving an American style breakfast. The breakfast menu includes bacon, eggs, and pancakes, alongside fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, and locally made jams. Authentic Thai cuisine is also served. Surf Point Coffee & Bistro offers an impressive selection of coffee and tea options. You can have freshly made meals you will crave to come back for.

Guests can witness gray whales migrating past Shelter Cove. Fishing is possible from the shore or via group charters (licenses available at The General Store). The Lost Coast Trail, located nearby, offers coastal wilderness hiking. Tide pools and beaches are present. Paradise Royale trail system is built for mountain biking. The Shelter Cove Golf Links are located near the Inn.

The Oceanfront Inn is located in Shelter Cove, a small seaside hamlet in the Lost Coast of Northern California, within the King Range Mountains. Black Sands Beach, the south end of a 20-mile coastline, is close by. Mal Coombs Park is located right next to the Inn.
Amenities and Services
The property offers a BBQ grill with tools and picnic supplies in the patio area. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, gas fire pit on the patio, a garden and waterfall, chairs and tables for ocean viewing. Putting green and horse shoes are coming soon on the South Lawn. In-room massages are available by appointment.
