THE OCEANFRONT INN, Shelter Cove

The Oceanfront Inn features 10 rooms, all facing the ocean. Deluxe rooms have either a king bed or two queen beds. The Admiral's Quarters include a vaulted ceiling, skylight, and an unobstructed view of the ocean and night sky. The Beach House Apartment has a king bedroom, sofa-sleeper, full kitchen, and a deck with a BBQ.

The onsite restaurant serves American breakfast favorites, like bacon, eggs, and pancakes, alongside locally made fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, and jams. Authentic Thai cuisine is also available. Surf Point Coffee & Bistro offers coffee, tea, breakfast, and brunch.

Guests can use the BBQ grill and picnic supplies in the patio area. Onsite activities include tide pool tours and access to The Shelter Cove Golf Links, a nine-hole course. Other activities available are whale watching and hiking the Lost Coast Trail.

Located in Shelter Cove, the Inn overlooks the Pacific Ocean near the King Range Mountains. It is located on the south end of the walkable coastline that stretches 20 miles to Matolle River Campground. Black Sands Beach Trailhead is 3 km away.
