Suites include Clara Benbow's Suite with Rose Garden and Reed Mountain views, Helen Benbow's Suite overlooking the terrace and Pratt Mountain, and Evangeline Benbow's Suite with a private balcony and Pratt Mountain view. Burtis Benbow's Suite features a vintage copper soaking tub and river views. Walter Benbow's Suite has a stone bridge view, while Robert Benbow's Suite includes a separate sitting room. Leta Benbow's Room offers a stone bridge view, and Earnest Linser's Room has an adjoining room option. Further options include Garden Cottage Rooms with exposed beams, Fireplace King Rooms with a California king bed, Terrace King Rooms overlooking the Benbow gardens, Terrace Queen Rooms, and Terrace Petite Rooms that accommodate pets. Queen Balcony Rooms overlook the Eel River. Dining at Benbow
The Benbow Historic Inn has a restaurant that serves dinner from 5 PM to 9 PM nightly. The Bar opens at 3 PM, serving a Bar Food Menu from 3 PM to 10 PM. Brunch is available on Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 2 PM. Breakfast is offered in the Lobby Bar for all guests. A complimentary tea and scones service is available in the upper lobby from 3 PM to 4 PM. Guests can also head to the Lost Coast Brewery & Café for additional dining choices. Until further notice, Benbow will only be serving hotel and KOA guests in the restaurant for dinner. The last seating is at 8:30pm and 7:45pm on Wednesdays.
Leisure and Activities
Guests have access to hiking, birding, kayaking, and Redwood State Parks. The Benbow KOA, a short walk from the Inn, features a pool, jacuzzi, splash park, playground, general store, and a 9-hole golf course. The Inn offers bicycle rentals and an outdoor pool open from May to October. There is also an outdoor jacuzzi, a playground, and a sport court. The KOA Game Room includes pool, video games, and a fireplace. Guests can experience a Forest Bathing Tour. This activity has benefits to bodies, physically and mentally that are measurable in reduced stress, increased immunity and enhanced emotional well-being. The Avenue of the Giants Redwood Forest Eco Tour features an extensive variety of plant life.
