Inn at Shasta Lake
The Inn at Shasta Lake is located 45 km from Redding Municipal. This 11-room inn provides access to Shasta Lake. All hotel amenities and public spaces meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. Guests can visit a special place where the earth has opened up to reveal its inner treasures.
Rooms and Suites
The Inn features free WiFi, air conditioning, and a garden with a terrace. Rooms have wood or bamboo floors. The Oak Building has four rooms on two floors; many overlook the formal garden and gazebo. The Pine Building has five suites on two floors and common rooms. Rooms feature a flat-screen HD TV with premium satellite access, private bathroom with a hairdryer, free toiletries, and shower. A coffee maker, corkscrew, wine glasses, and alarm clock/radio are provided. Pet-friendly rooms include the Pinecone Treehouse, Acorn Cottage, Blacktail Deer, and Jack Rabbit. The Goldfinch, Robin, and Acorn rooms accommodate two guests. The Pinecone Treehouse, Woodpecker, Hummingbird, Blacktail Deer, and Grey Squirrel rooms accommodate up to four guests with a regular bed and sofa bed. The Nuthatch, Grey Fox, and Jack Rabbit rooms accommodate up to three guests with a regular bed and sofa bed.
Dining at the Inn
The main building includes a common dining room, deck, and living room. The Inn provides room service every morning with food delivered between 8:00 AM and 9:15 AM. A hot breakfast is served with options including French toast with rum bananas, chocolate chip zucchini pancakes, fluffy baked eggs with roasted potatoes, breakfast taquitos with chipotle lime dip, and cheesy grits with sausage and vegetables. Special dietary needs are accommodated with advance notice. Guests can choose to dine in their suite or at a private table in the dining room or on the deck.
Location and Activities
The Inn is located within the Shasta Trinity National Forest. The nicest hiking trail on the lake is 1/2 mile away, and marinas and a boat ramp for water activities are less than 2 miles away. Nearby attractions include Lake Shasta Caverns (2 km), Shasta Caverns (5 km), and Lake Shasta (2 km). Guests can rent a power boat, jet ski, canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, or a houseboat. The Sundial Pedestrian Bridge, located on the Sacramento River in Redding, links Turtle Bay Exploration Park and the Sacramento River National Recreation rail.
