Plant-Based Dining
Ravens Restaurant, located on-site, offers plant-based cuisine with organic ingredients sourced from the inn's gardens. A daily breakfast, made to order, is included with each stay. The dinner menu features options like Sea Palm Strudel, made with locally harvested sea palm, and Kalua mushrooms using onions and mushroom. The Director of Wine selects wines from Mendocino County, focusing on organic and traditional methods. Afternoon tea time, with coffee, tea, sweet breads, and tea sandwiches, is available.
Leisure and Wellness
The resort has a solarium-enclosed saltwater pool, hot tub, and sauna. Guests have access to mountain bikes for exploring trails. Yoga classes are available. Massage in the Forest and the wellness center provide experiences. Other facilities include the Fitness Room. The surrounding area offers opportunities for canoeing and kayaking on Big River, which can be rented at Catch A Canoe & Bicycles, too.

The Stanford Inn & Resort is in Mendocino, near Highway 128. Nearby attractions include Russian Gulch State Park, Van Damme, and Hendy Woods which have Redwoods and Douglas Firs. Montgomery Woods, containing the world's tallest tree, and Orr Springs are along the route towards Ukiah. The Inn is near Mendocino Headlands State Park, Big River Beach, the Mendocino Art Center, and Point Cabrillo Light. Highway 128 includes the Yorkville Highlands wine country and Anderson Valley.
