Beacon Grand, A Union Square Hotel features rooms and suites with high ceilings and European oak floors. Classic Guestrooms include bedside charging stations, high-speed internet, a 55-inch 4K Ultra HD TV with Chromecast, an Illy coffee maker, a mini fridge, and C.O. Bigelow toiletries. Grand Guestrooms offer signature color schemes, high floors, and city views. Grand Junior Suites (3rd to 15th floors) have a king bed, seating area, bath, and walk-in shower. Grand One Bedroom Suites include a seating area and bathroom. The Beacon Grand Suite (885 sq ft) offers a living room, large bathroom, rooftop terrace, dining for 6, guest bath, premium Illy coffee bar, clothes steamer, and C.O. Bigelow toiletries. For Two Bedroom Suite set up, reserve a Classic King Guestroom to connect based on availability. Reusable water bottles and refill stations are available on every floor. Clothes steamers come standard. Robes, slippers, irons, ironing boards, and cribs are available on request.

The Post Room serves Mediterranean flavors with California produce, plus craft cocktails and a spritz menu. Scala's offers Italian dishes cooked with Californian ingredients. The hotel features a rotating Winemaker's Dinner Series that pairs California wines with farm-to-table menus. Executive Chef Jose Tallador and Executive Sous Chef Tsina Ong craft the menus. Guests can enjoy breakfast, dinner, and expertly crafted cocktails and whiskeys in a nostalgic setting punctuated by Powell Street cable car bells. A Hidden Library offers whiskeys, bourbons, and ryes, served neat or in cocktails. Curtain Call Cocktails are offered at The Post Room before or after theater shows with presentation of a theater ticket. The Executive Lunch at The Post Room is available Monday through Friday.

The Fitness Studio, located on the third floor, is open 24 hours and offers Peloton bikes, treadmills, elliptical, Smith machine, dumbbells, weight balls, and kettlebells. The Starlite Room atop the hotel features DJ Nina Tarr and vinyl soundtracks. At Starlite Chef Johnny Spero created the menu with dishes such as the Hot Fried Chicken Bun inspired by San Francisco's Chinatown and Baked Oysters.

Located in Union Square's Theater District, Beacon Grand, A Union Square Hotel is near theaters and shops like Saks and Westfield Mall. The hotel is one block north of Union Square. It is near Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Embarcadero via the cable car line in front of the hotel. Market Street streetcars and buses provide access to the Ballpark and Castro Street. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train from the airport exits at the Powell Street station (3 blocks to the hotel) or Montgomery Street station (4 blocks to the hotel). Ridesharing pick-up at the domestic terminal is on garage level five (5) and at the international terminal outside departures on the third (3) level.

The Beacon Grand offers social hosts for itineraries, valet parking, and bell service. The hotel also provides 17,000 square feet of event space. Guests can also make use of water stations.
