LITTLE VALLEY INN, Mariposa

Little Valley Inn features modern rooms, each with a private outside entrance and patio. Rooms include one or two queen-size organic cotton beds, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a 32-inch flat-screen TV with DirecTV HD. Each room also provides a coffee maker with Wolfgang Puck coffee, a selection of teas, and Little Valley Inn etched drinking glasses. Bathrooms feature a shower/tub combination, organic shampoo and soap, and premium towels. Rooms are equipped with guest-controlled air conditioning and heating, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The Suncatcher room, in its own building, offers two queen beds and a 40-inch TV. The Sugarpine room pays tribute to the Miwok Indians with original metal artwork.

Guests can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast buffet. The buffet includes meat, egg, cheese, and vegan protein, along with breads, bagels, muffins, danish, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, granola, nuts, juices, coffee, and tea. Guests can enjoy their meal in the breakfast room or outside on the patio. For early departures, breakfast can be packaged the night before.

Guests can relax in the park-like backyard with oak trees, an ancient Indian grinding rock, and a nature path to the seasonal creek. Yosemite National Park is near the Inn and provides hiking trails, horseback riding, fishing, and seasonal rafting and skiing. Yosemite Valley has a Miwok-Paiute village. The park features museums, Ansel Adams' art gallery, self-guiding trails, nature centers, and ranger-led walks. Yosemite's highlights include Yosemite Falls, Sentinel Falls, Ribbon Falls, and Mariposa Grove with giant sequoia trees.

Little Valley Inn is located in Mariposa, a historic gold mining town. Merced Municipal Airport is 75 km away. Nearby attractions include a history museum recognized by the Smithsonian Institution. The Inn is also home to the oldest courthouse west of the Rockies still in continuous operation.

The property offers free, assigned parking for all guests. All rooms have HEPA filters for maximum airflow and efficiency. Check-in is from 12 PM to 8 PM, and check-out is at 10 AM. Arrangements can be made for late arrivals. Free WiFi is accessible throughout the property. The property is smoke and vape-free indoors; smoking is permitted outside with proper ashtray disposal.
