On-site parking costs $10.00 per day, and a pass provided by the lodge is required to be displayed in vehicles. Daily room cleaning services are available upon request for guests staying multiple nights. Daily office hours are from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm. Quiet hours are after 10:30 pm.

Julian offers four seasons. Guests can visit nearby apple orchards such as Calico Ranch and Volcan Valley Apple Farm. At Calico Ranch, guests can pick their own fruit. At Volcan Valley Apple Farm, apples are pesticide-free and all-natural. The Julian Arts Guild hosts three annual art shows, workshops, demonstrations, an artist studio tour, and speakers at monthly meetings. Other nearby attractions are Julian Mining Co. and Fort Cross. The Julian Dark Sky Network works to preserve the dark skies, and the town hosts dark sky events throughout the year.

The Regulars offers specialty coffee, tea, baked goods, breakfast, lunch, craft beer, and wine. Julian Cider Mill sells fresh local cider, homemade fudge, classic preserves, and nostalgic candies.
