Cosmopolitan Hotel provides rooms appointed with American-made antique furnishings from the 1860s and 1870s. Rooms offer heating, air conditioning, a sitting area, terrace, patio, garden furniture, parquet floor and complimentary toiletries. The hotel has ten rooms, each uniquely historic. Rooms do not include TVs. Room options include the Refugio Bandini Room with a balcony and a large walk-in shower; the Josefa Bandini Room with a vanity; The Pine Tub Suite with a pillow-top mattress and giant pine bath-tub; The Cauldron Suite, a two-bedroom suite with a king bed and a twin size bed and a hammered copper bathtub; the California Room with a patio and a claw-foot tub; the General Stockton Room with opaque windows; The Seeley Suite with a balcony, a gas fireplace, and a claw-foot bathtub; the Arcadia Bandini Suite which is mobility/handicap accessible; and the Ysadora Bandini Room with a large walk-in shower.

The Cosmopolitan has an on-site full-service restaurant and bar open seven days a week for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. The chefs at the Cosmopolitan prepare every dish with house-made sauces, fresh vegetables, and the finest meat and seafood. A menu reflects the Mexican, American, and seafood cultures that influenced Old Town. Guests can enjoy hot coffee or tea and home-made pastries in saloon. The hotel offers comfortable dining areas including the heated Orchard Terrace. The hotel prepares afternoon tea with small sandwiches, cakes, and pastries. Guests can also savor food in private dining rooms showcasing the original Mexican adobe walls. The Cosmo Happy Hour is available Wednesday through Saturday from 4-6:30pm on the outdoor garden patio.

The Cosmopolitan is next door to the Cygnet Theater in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. The Cosmopolitan accommodates events from 30 to 300+ including ceremonies, receptions, rehearsals, showers, and meetings.
