Oceanfront Suites
Inn of the Lost Coast has suites and guestrooms with views of the ocean. Each suite includes a private balcony and in-room hot tub. Suites come standard with Wi-Fi, snack baskets, and champagne. Select suites include an infrared sauna, a rainfall shower, an extended stay kitchenette with a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a sink. The Penthouse Suite sleeps up to six people and has two separate bedrooms overlooking the ocean. Deluxe Suites feature cushioned outdoor seating. Each suite has a living space with a pillow-topped King or two Queen size beds, a love-seat sofa couch, and a built-in fireplace.
Dining Choices
Delgada Pizza and Bakery, located inside the Inn, specializes in Italian food, offering handmade pizza and calzones to authentic Italian pasta with sauce, salad, soup, appetizers, beer, and wine. The Fish Tank Espresso Gallery, also on-site, serves locally roasted coffee, espresso drinks, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, bagels, and lox. In the evening, it offers a selection of beer and wine. Gyppo Ale Mill is located on the 9th hole of the Shelter Cove Golf Links. Mi Mochima is across the street, offering Venezuelan cuisine, steaks, and seafood. Black Sands Bistro is located at 205 Wave Dr.
Things to do
Guests can relax in the outdoor hot tub or around the fire pit. A nine-hole golf course covers 2,380 yards. NCGA has installed a computer in the clubhouse to register scores and calculate handicaps. Sport fishing for salmon is available May through August. The front desk can assist with recreational opportunities. Inn of the Lost Coast is located on the cliffs above Black Sand Beach. The inn is near the Cape Mendocino Lighthouse in Mal Coombs Park. It serves as a base camp for exploring the coastline, near the southern trailhead for the 20-mile Lost Coast Trail. The Avenue of the Giants is surrounded by Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The Shelter Cove Airport is across from the Inn. The Pacific Crest Trail passes through California, Oregon, and Washington.
