Rooms & Cabins
The Buckeye Tree Lodge offers lodge rooms and private cabins. The lodge rooms include a fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine, a shower, a hairdryer, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and DVD player. Lodge Rooms 1, 6, 8, 10, and 11 have two queen beds. Lodge Rooms 2, 3, 4, and 5 have one king bed. Lodge Room 7 has one queen bed. Lodge Room 9 includes two queen beds and a kitchenette with a two-burner stove, a sink, and dishes. The cabins are across the street from the lodge and offer hand-crafted wood trim, personal outdoor spaces with barbecues, and fireplaces. Options range from a queen bed to multiple bedrooms for up to eight people. Cabins include complimentary Wi-Fi, fresh coffee beans with a grinder and maker, flat-screen TVs with DISH satellite and DVD players, a microwave, and a mini refrigerator. Ground floor rooms are pet friendly. There are shared charcoal barbecue grills available.
Accommodation Types
Alta Cabin has two queen beds, one sleeper couch, and a large shared deck. Aspen Cabin has one queen bed, one day bed, and a large shared deck. Blossom Cabin features one queen bed and a large private patio. Columbine Cabin includes one queen bed and a large wrap-around deck. Dogwood Cabin can accommodate up to eight people, with three levels and three bedrooms: two bedrooms with queen-size beds and a third bedroom with bunk beds (twin-size on top, full-size on the bottom). Eagle Cabin is a standalone cottage with one queen bed, one day bed, and a private patio. Falcon Cabin has one king bed, one sleeper couch, and a private balcony. Forest Cabin includes two queen beds, one futon, and a private outdoor patio. Glacier Cabin features two levels, three bedrooms (two with queen-size beds, one with bunk beds), and a private balcony and patio. Hummingbird Cabin is a cottage with one queen bed and an outdoor deck. The Buckeye River House has three bedrooms: a master bedroom with a king bed, a queen bedroom, and a bedroom with two queen beds.
Dining at Buckeye
The Buckeye Tree Lodge provides a catering kitchen with seating for shared meals with a view at The Riverhouse cabin. Each cabin includes a coffee maker, coffee grinder and fresh coffee beans. Some cabins contain full-size kitchens with basic dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
Leisure and Wellness
Guests have access to two pools with salt-water chlorinating technology. The Buckeye Tree Lodge has a pool built into the local granite on the river side and a pool across the street at the end of the row of cabins. Yoga, massage, sound baths, and energy work are available on site at The Canopy, overlooking the river.
Location & Activities
Buckeye Tree Lodge is located next to Sequoia National Park. Visalia Municipal Airport is 70 km away. Landmarks near the lodge include Knapp's cabin (2 km), Buck Rock Lookout (2 km), and Crystal Cave (2 km). Activities include waterfall viewing and fall foliage viewing. There are fishing options available at and around the lodge, including rainbow trout, Sacramento sucker fish, and smallmouth bass.
