Rooms & Cabins
The Buckeye Tree Lodge has lodge rooms and private cabins. Lodge rooms (1-7) are in the main building, with the River House attached. Rooms 8-11 are in a second building. Cabins are across the street from the lodge and have private patios. All units have air conditioning, a fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine, a shower, a hairdryer, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and DVD player. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.
Lodge Room Details
Lodge Room #1 has two queen beds and a patio for up to four people. Lodge Room #2 is a mini suite with one king bed, a futon, and a balcony overlooking the river, accommodating up to three people. Lodge Room #3 includes one king bed and a patio for a maximum of two people. Lodge Room #4 has one king bed and a balcony with river views, accommodating up to two people. Lodge Room #5 features one king bed, a patio, and river views for up to two people. Lodge Room #6 has two queen beds and a balcony with river views, accommodating up to four people. Lodge Room #7 includes one queen bed, a patio, and river views for up to two people. Lodge Rooms #8 and #10 each have two queen beds and a balcony, accommodating up to four people. Lodge Room #9 features two queen beds, a kitchenette with a two-burner stove, a sink, basic dishes, pots, and pans, accommodating up to four people. Lodge Room #11 has two queen beds and a deck overlooking the xeriscape garden and the river, accommodating up to four people. Ground floor rooms are pet friendly.
Cabin Features
Alta Cabin includes two queen beds, a sleeper couch, and a shared deck for up to five people. Aspen Cabin has one queen bed, one day bed, and a shared deck for up to three people. Blossom Cabin features one queen bed and a private patio for up to two people. Columbine Cabin includes one queen bed and a private deck for up to two people. Dogwood Cabin has two queen beds, two bunk beds (four beds total), a sleeper couch, a patio, a grill, and a balcony for up to eight people. Eagle Cabin features one queen bed, one day bed, and a private patio for up to three people. Falcon Cabin includes one king bed, a sleeper couch, and a private redwood deck with a gas BBQ for up to three people. Forest Cabin features two queen beds, one futon, and a private outdoor patio with a gas barbecue for up to five people. Glacier Cabin has two queen beds, two bunk beds (four beds total), a private balcony, and a patio for up to eight people. Hummingbird Cabin includes one queen bed and an outdoor deck for up to two people.
Dining & Amenities
Each cabin has a coffee machine, grinder, and fresh coffee beans. Buckeye Tree Lodge has a catering kitchen in the Riverhouse cabin with seating for shared meals with a view. Shared charcoal barbecue grills are available. Two pools use salt-water chlorinating technology. Local massage services can bring your own healer to feature throughout the weekend. Wi-Fi calling is possible and landline is accessible for calls anywhere in the U.S.
Location & Activities
Buckeye Tree Lodge is next to the Main fork and the East fork rivers, bordering Sequoia National Park. Visalia Municipal is 70 km away. Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are nearby. The Canopy offers yoga, massage, and other wellness-focused experiences. Fishing is available with native rainbow trout. Activities include waterfall viewing and fall foliage viewing.
