This inn connects to the California coast through earth tones, furnishings, and style. All individual guest rooms, except the Meadowview Suite, feature ocean views. Accommodations include gas fireplaces, down comforters and pillows, feather beds, Sferra linens, turndown service upon request, and Le Labo Hinoki bath products. Rooms include Abyss cotton towels, lighted makeup mirrors, Giessdorf showerheads, flat-panel televisions with built-in DVD players and Direct TV, Wi-Fi, local and long-distance calls, plush robes, and leather club chairs. Meadowview Suite is on the second floor and includes a king and queen bed. Raven is a corner king room with hues of ecru and beach shell, a writing desk, and a soaking tub with shower. Manzanita is a first-floor corner king room with a private deck and Japanese soaking tub. Madrone is a first-floor corner king room with a two-person Jacuzzi tub. Redwood is a first-floor ADA-accessible queen room with a roll-in bathroom and stall shower with a seat. Pine is a first-floor queen room with a two-person jetted tub and mirrored closet. Pelican is a second-floor queen room. Heron is a second-floor queen room. Lookout is a loft-level room that connects to Smuggler's Cove, which has walls of seagrass and white accents. It offers a king feather bed and a writing desk.
Dining Options
Breakfast is a culinary experience with fresh pastries, Belgian hot chocolate, artisan coffee, organic eggs, fresh-squeezed juices, and cooked-to-order selections each morning. Guests may choose to dine by the fireplace in the Great Room or ensuite. The executive chef prepares appetizers for guests that are included with their stay, presented in room-specific Mendo Boxes. An evening menu may include Herb-Crusted Lamb Lollipops with Pear-Mint Redux, Garden Caviar, Carrot Soufflé, and Chocolate-Grand Marnier Mousse. The inn uses local farmers and purveyors for organic fruits and vegetables, free-range poultry and livestock, and fresh-caught fish. Local foragers provide mushrooms from surrounding forests during mushroom season.
Leisure and Entertainment
The Great Room features a glass and steel fireplace. Guests can relax in the living room seating area with Gustav Stickley furniture. A library of books and a DVD collection can be found along the south wall of the Great Room. There is also a guest computer and printer with Internet access. The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens features flora and fauna. Guests can also book private yoga sessions or experience sound therapy with flutes, drums, and Tibetan bowls. The inn can schedule activities to help guests make the most of their time in Mendocino. Spa treatments include Swedish, hot stone, deep tissue, and prenatal massage therapy. Facial cupping rejuvenation massage is available.

The inn is located in Brewery Gulch, bordering 48 acres of meadows and redwoods of the Jackson Demonstration State Forest. Smuggler's Cove is available to be seen.
