“What struck me about this roadside motel was its unexpectedly homey atmosphere, from the courtyard shaded by mature trees to the barbecue grills awaiting a cookout. The rooms have a certain vintage appeal, with kitchenettes in some, but I sensed a need for more consistent attention to cleanliness and maintenance. It's a budget-friendly base with a welcoming spirit, though travelers should set expectations accordingly.”
