Standard rooms include Garden Cottage Queen, Garden Cottage Fireplace Queen, Garden Cottage Fireplace King, and Garden Cottage King. Victoria Street Cottage is available one block from the main hotel. Each room provides high-speed WiFi, HDMI ports, and USB charging ports. Suites may feature a separate living area/bedroom, large bathroom with separate tub/shower, fireplace, wet bar, and private deck or patio. Some rooms have private patios. Standard extras include terrycloth bath robes and linens. Room amenities include heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, a terrace or patio, and garden furniture. Bathrooms include free toiletries. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels, carpeted or parquet floors.

Louie's Restaurant is located onsite and serves California comfort food. It features an extensive wine selection, though it is not part of The Upham Hotel. An assortment of pastries, fruit, coffee, and tea are available in the morning.
