SILVER PINES LODGE, Idyllwild

Silver Pines Lodge offers 13 individual units, suitable for group retreats. Each room and cabin includes a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker with complimentary coffee, hot teas, sugar, sweetener, and creamer. Guests can choose rooms with specific features such as a fireplace, king bed, a large spa tub, and a handheld shower. Some rooms are handicap-designed with a roll-in shower, a full kitchen, a gas fireplace, a King Bed, and two twin beds all in one room. The water from the faucet is spring water directly from the mountain. Several suites feature a tea and coffee maker, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a patio. Guests can choose rooms with mountain views. Chalets are equipped with kitchens featuring a refrigerator and a microwave.

Silver Pines Lodge does not have an on-site restaurant. However, it is near several dining options. Fratellos Ristorante & Pizzeria serves pizza. Tommy's Kitchen serves brunch on the weekends. The Red Kettle serves home-style food with big portions. The rooms are located three doors down from Ferro's Restaurant on the corner of North Circle & Cedar. Groceries, including meats, are available at the local Grocery Store.

Silver Pines Lodge sits on 1-1/2 acres of pine forest overlooking Strawberry Creek. Its attractions include hiking, rock climbing, mountain bike riding, shopping, eating, and relaxing. Rock Climbing Professional teachers and guides can be hired from the ' Nomad Ventures ' shop. Guests have free access to the gym at Idyllwild Chiropractic, a 10-minute walk away. In the center, there is a slide show of Idyllwild's history and many displays on the logging industry, ancient Cahuilla Indians, and local wildlife. Guests can explore Indian Pictographs and bedrock mortars from the Cahuilla Indians. Near the lodge is Humber Park (3 km), Foster Lake (2 km), Mountain Mike's Custom Leather (1 km), and Idyllwild Nature Center (2 km).

Silver Pines Lodge is located in Idyllwild, at the backside of the mountain range above Palm Springs. It is a hidden jewel within 2 hours of Los Angeles or San Diego. Silver Pines Lodge is 85 km from Palm Springs International. To arrive from Highway 10 East, take it all the way to Banning. Take the third exit in Temecula, which says 79 North ' Winchester Road '. Also, take Highway 371, which veers off to your left. The home is at the top of an incline that gives you views and slopes during the winter.

The Lodge operates based on normal Lodge hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Additional hours, including early open and late closing, must be requested in advance. All units at the lodge must be available for you to book your group. Mama Bear is part of a group retreat area. Bookings for all 13 rooms & cabins at Silver Pines start from Friday. If you are particularly sensitive to hot weather, please be aware of the climate.
