Orange Village Hostel provides single rooms, double rooms, and dorm rooms with a maximum of 4 beds per unit. A full private bathroom is available in most rooms, including dorms. Dorm rooms include backpack-sized lockers. Bedrooms feature hardwood floors, hand sink, closet and comfortable beds. Private rooms offer perks such as pillow menus, conditioning shampoo and luggage rack. Private rooms have one double, one queen, or two twin beds, a refrigerator, and satellite TV. Deluxe private ensuite rooms also include a microwave and a shower booth. Rooms are equipped with linens, towels, hairdryer, a fan, desk and free Wi-Fi. Rooms available include: double bed private rooms with either private bathroom featuring a shower booth and a hand sink or shared bathroom with modern shared bathrooms in the hallways, twin bed private rooms with either private ensuite bathroom containing a shower booth and a hand sink or shared bathroom with contemporary shared bathrooms, triple bed private rooms with one twin-sized bed and one twin bunk bed, accompanied by either an ensuite bathroom containing a shower booth and a hand sink or private rooms with modern shared bathrooms located in close proximity within the hallways, and Family rooms with one Bunk bed / one twin-sized bed and one Full size bed, as well as a hand sink inside the room.
Dining and Amenities
Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast from 7 AM to 10 AM, featuring toast, cereal, waffles, oatmeal, bananas, orange juice, milk, coffee, and yogurt. A shared kitchen and dining room are available. The hostel also boasts a shared lounge area and a 24-hour reception. Onsite amenities include coin-operated washers and dryers with complimentary detergent and free Wi-Fi in rooms and public areas. Free pizza nights are organized. Luggage storage and bike storage are available.

The hostel provides bicycle hire and discounted bike rentals for exploring the Golden Gate Bridge and National Parks. A station with internet access is available for guest use in the lobby. Front desk staff can mediate conflicting bunk requests with a paper-scissors-rock or thumb wrestling match. For secure storage, backpack-sized lockers are available within the room, and roll-out containers located beneath the beds offer additional storage options. Sensitive materials such as passports or wallets can also be held in the hostel safe by request. The front desk staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Location & Transportation
Orange Village Hostel is located in Downtown San Francisco. Some attractions include Aquarium of the Bay. The Powell Street BART Metro Station, is an 8-minute walk and offers transportation to both San Francisco and Oakland International Airports. From San Francisco Airport, take the BART on the 3rd floor to Powell Station. The hostel is on the left-hand side of O'Farrell Street. The bus stops at the Transbay Terminal in San Francisco.
Important Information
Check-out time is before 11 AM; late checkouts incur a $10 charge. Guests must behave respectfully towards other clients and hostel staff. The maximum length of stay is 14 days. A minimum of 5 consecutive days off the property will be required before a guest may rebook. As an accommodation provider, we only accept travelers as guests and therefore, we can only accommodate individuals who reside outside of San Francisco county. Dormitory room guests must provide proof of vaccination.
