JUNE LAKE VILLAGER, June Lake

June Lake Villager provides a variety of rooms, including standard motel rooms with one queen bed and shower. Some are pet-friendly upon request. Standard motel rooms with kitchenettes feature one king bed, a kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, stovetop, coffee maker, and toaster), and a shower. Deluxe kitchenette rooms have one king bed, two twin beds in an enclosed loft, and a kitchenette. One-bedroom suites include a separate bedroom with one queen bed, a twin-size day bed in the living room, a full kitchen, and a shower. Deluxe one-bedroom suites offer a separate bedroom with two queen beds, a twin-size daybed or pull-out couch in the living room, a full kitchen, and a bath with a tub. Two-bedroom suites include a living/dining room, one bedroom with one king bed, a second bedroom with two twin beds, a pull-out sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. One suite has a tub. Large cabins feature two bedrooms with queen-sized beds, three twin beds upstairs, a living room, a full kitchen, and two bathrooms with a shower/tub. An ADA-compliant room is also available, equipped with a kitchenette featuring granite countertops and a balcony.

The Lift offers healthy meals with indoor/outdoor seating. It is open for breakfast on Monday and Thursday, and for breakfast and lunch from Friday to Sunday. Tiger Bar & Cafe, across the street, offers a complete dining experience for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. SLR Cafe, established in 1916, serves home-style breakfasts, omelets, pancakes, biscuit gravy, burgers, and sandwiches. June Lake Brewery features beers and Hawaiian soul food from an outdoor truck. Eagle's Landing is open daily from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM, serving lemon/herb rotisserie roasted chicken, seafood, ribs, steaks, and salads.

June Lake Villager is near June Mountain Ski Area (one mile away) and Mammoth Mountain Ski Area (20-minute drive), offering opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Other winter activities include ice skating, ice climbing, and sledding. In spring, summer, and fall, activities include fishing in lakes and streams, hiking, and mountain biking. The June Lake Loop is a destination for kayaking. The Frontier Pack Train offers guided horseback riding trips for all skill levels.

June Lake Villager is in June Lake, against the southern rim of the Mono Basin. It is 40 km from Mammoth Yosemite. Nearby landmarks include Double Eagle Resort and Spa (4 km), Gull Lake Park (5 km), June Lake Marina (0.5 km), Reversed Peak Trail (0.3 km), and Gull Lake (0.5 km). The June Lake Loop connects to Highway 395. The fastest route from Northern California crosses Donner Summit or Echo Summit and drives south on 395. From Southern California, Walker Pass leads to Highway 395 north to Mono Lake. From Orange County, take Highway 15 north to 395.

The Villager guarantees lodging. Rollaway beds are available upon request, with limited quantities. The Villager is a dog-friendly motel, with a $30 fee per dog, per night (2 dogs max). Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are offered. Some rooms feature kitchenettes and flat-screen TVs.
