Elk Cove Inn offers sixteen suites and rooms with coastal decor, including ocean view suites, cliffside oceanfront cottages, carriage house rooms, and rooms in an historic mansion. Oceanfront Junior Suites have views of the Pacific Ocean, beach, and offshore sea stacks. Suites include a sitting room, electric fireplace, arts and crafts furniture, a wet bar with a Keurig coffee-maker, microwave, and refrigerator, plus a private balcony or stone patio. Bathrooms include a separate shower and Jacuzzi jet tub. Cliffside oceanfront cottages feature cathedral ceilings and picture windows, electric fireplaces or wood stoves, coffee makers, TVs, microwave ovens, and refrigerators. Carriage House rooms have vaulted, open-beam ceilings and are pet-friendly. The Hideaway room is ADA-accessible with wide doors, grab bars in the bathroom, and a walk-in shower.
Dining at Elk Cove
SIBO Restaurant is open to the public Thursday through Monday, serving French Eclectic Cuisine from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. An in-room menu is available on Tuesday and Wednesday at 5:30 pm. The morning meal features eggs benedict, seasonal omelets, yogurt with seasonal fruit, homemade waffles, and a croissant and muffin basket. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options are available, including blueberry chia cup, avocado toast, and vegan veggie omelet. A wine selection is available during the day or at dinner.
Leisure and Spa
Elk Cove Inn has a European-style Day Spa offering Swedish or deep tissue massage. The spa is located on the first floor of the mansion. The property has private stairs to the beach. Guests can relax in front of the fireplace. Elk Cove Inn offers a tour of the homestead Thursday through Monday at 11:00 am. On weekends, a social hour takes place from 4:30 to 5:30 pm with a bonfire, wine, cheese, and games. Two Tesla plug-ins are available.

Elk Cove Inn is located on Highway 1 in Elk, 150 miles north of San Francisco and 25 miles south of Mendocino. Route 128 takes you through the Anderson Valley wineries. The inn is south of the Stornetta Lands National Monument. Local shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Hendy Woods State Park is 30 minutes east.
