Caliente Tropics offers rooms with a tiki theme. The Deluxe King room is 275 Sq. Ft. and includes a king bed. The Parlor Suite King includes a private bedroom, a living room, and an additional T.V. The Tahitian Lanai building houses rooms overlooking the garden and lawn, with either a king bed or two queen beds. All rooms include luxury mattress sets, high-quality linens, compact refrigerator, in-room safe, hair dryer and ironing board, and cable T.V. An ADA-compliant room is available with two queen beds, grab bars in the bathroom, and wheelchair access; this room also has Wi-Fi, a ceiling fan, and both A/C and heat. Pets are not allowed in rooms with a pool view.

Guests can relax at the outdoor pool and spa. The pool holds over 100,000 gallons. Adjacent to the pool, there is a lawn. Guests can enjoy drinks at the fully-stocked Reef Bar, located next to the pool.

Caliente Tropics provides indoor and outdoor spaces for meetings and weddings. The indoor meeting room accommodates 70 people. For receptions, the room can be opened to the lobby to accommodate up to 120 people. The outdoor meeting space accommodates tents and up to 250 people.

Caliente Tropics is 5 km from Palm Springs International. Landmarks nearby include The Mesa (0.5 km), Tahquitz River Estates (0.5 km), and VillageFest (2 km). Guests can visit the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum. Other attractions include Cimarron Golf Resort, Indian Canyons, and the Palm Springs Art Museum. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is also accessible, with the last tram car departing Mountain Station at 9:45 pm.
