1906 LODGE, Coronado

1906 Lodge guestrooms offer options for getaways with friends, families, and romantic escapes. Most luxurious rooms are an ideal choice for honeymoons or anniversaries. Some rooms include a shower and extra-large in-room spa tub, or a rain shower and private balcony. Some first-floor rooms feature a porch while second-floor rooms have a patio. Rooms have a high-definition, flat-panel TV. Some rooms feature a refrigerator, wet bar, and gas fireplace. One guestroom is accessible, located on the second floor with elevator access, roll-in shower with grab bars, shower bench, adjustable showerhead, raised toilet seat, sink with compliant height to accommodate wheelchair access, a low shelf and clothing rod, and a doorbell with sight and audio alert.

The signature breakfast features a hot entrée prepared by Innkeepers. Breakfast includes a hot entree such as Adella Chili Bake, Baked Spinach Florentine, or the Mushroom and Three Cheese Strata, along with freshly homemade pastries such as muffins and almond cakes. A freshly baked good, such as carrot cake muffins, maple pecan scones or almond cake, is also prepared. Guests enjoy a refreshing glass of mimosa with breakfast, prepared daily by Innkeepers from 8am to 9:30am. Additional tables around the fountain will seat up to 35 people, or a stand-up reception of up to 80 people maximum. Staff follows sanitary practices for food preparation and serving. Guests on special diets find suitable menu items; a small bag of personal food can be stored in the guest room refrigerator.

Guests enjoy the galleries, live theaters, boutiques, and restaurants of the walkable downtown district. Swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and surfing are available at Coronado Beach. Guests are near San Diego's popular attractions such as Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, and the USS Midway. A leisurely, guided stroll through this playground of presidents and princesses is available.

1906 Lodge is located on San Diego's Coronado Island. It's 2 blocks from Coronado Beach and Hotel Del, and 1 block from Downtown Coronado. San Diego is a short drive across the Coronado Causeway or a ferry ride across the bay. Two buses operate in Coronado, the 901 and 904, with a one-way fare of $2.25.

1906 Lodge offers complimentary secure, underground parking and Wi-Fi access. A safe is available at the front desk. Items checked into the front desk safe are available to access during the inn's posted front desk hours. The hotel also prepares a freshly baked good such as carrot cake muffins, maple pecan scones or almond cake. A refreshing glass of mimosa is served daily with breakfast, prepared by Innkeepers. The lodge offers secure, underground on-site parking, afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres, and coffee, tea, and filtered water.
