June Bug Cafe Dining
The June Bug Cafe features vegan, vegetarian options, hormone and antibiotic-free meats, cage-free eggs, organic grains, and local produce. The restaurant offers American comfort foods, steak, and pork chops, with organic Thai vegetable and tempeh curry and roast chicken with sweet potato mash served for dinner. Breakfast includes American Breakfast Hash Browns, Farmer's Breakfast Browned Red Potatoes, California Breakfast with avocado, French Toast, 9 Grain Pancakes, Hot Rolled Oatmeal, and Huevos Rancheros. Lunch items range from Grass-Fed Beef Cheese Burgers to Greek Salad. Saturday's dinner menu includes Angus Prime Rib; Friday's includes Porterhouse Steak. Pan-Seared Salmon, Vegetarian Mac and Cheese and Greek Chicken Gyro are also offered. The June Bug Cafe opens at 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM for breakfast, trail lunches, and water to go and dinner is 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
Eco-Spa and Wellness
The Yosemite Health Spa includes a garden deck nestled among the trees. It features a stainless steel hot tub with spring water and UV light cleaning, a cedar hot rock sauna, and showers. Guests can enjoy a wood-paneled yoga studio, massage rooms, and a hot-rock sauna. Treatments include hot stone massage, body wraps, and body scrubs. Soaking baths with essential oils are available. Massage therapy is available Thursday through Monday, 1 PM to 9 PM.
Location and Access
Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort is located on a hillside one hour from Yosemite National Park, and 80 km from Merced Municipal Airport. The Cedar Lodge is located along the Central Yosemite Highway, which stays open all year and runs into Yosemite National Park's west entrance. The Yosemite Valley Shuttle stops in front of the resort and takes visitors to the Visitors Center. The resort is near the Merced River, offering opportunities for whitewater rafting. YARTS bus access is available.
