Gardens and Nature
The inn's gardens along Pescadero Creek feature native and non-native plants. Designed by Kathleen Schaeffer, the gardens have local fauna and flowering plants. The garden includes over ten varieties of roses. Guests can relax in the garden swing by the organic vegetable and flower garden or in the hammock slung from the redwoods along Pescadero Creek. More than 200 varieties of birds have been viewed, with 60 of them nesting in the marsh. Late in the winter, the mouth of the Pescadero Creek opens up, allowing steelhead to enter and exit.
Additional Information
Pescadero Creek Inn gets its name from the creek that runs through the property. Each spring, the Chamarita Festival celebrates the Spanish Queen sending food to the Azores. The inn is cannabis friendly. There is a $25 additional room charge for each additional person. There is a two-night minimum from April first until November first. Organic teas are available for free. The Inn Keepers are Ken and Penny.
