Apple Tree Bear House has air-conditioned accommodations with fireplaces and DVD players. The holiday home includes 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a shower and a hairdryer. The kitchen has a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and cookware. A washing machine, tea and coffee maker, satellite TV, and a balcony are included. The unit offers 5 beds. The upstairs master bedroom features a Cal-King bed with a gas-log fireplace and a wall-mounted TV. The third bedroom includes a log queen bed with a bathroom directly across the hall. There is a comfortable queen bed for an additional sleeping area. Bathrooms feature both a shower and a large soaking tub. Guests have the entire home to themselves and only share it with other guests in their party.

Outdoor Living

The front of the house features a 44-foot, 500+ square foot deck overlooking open parkland. A sliding glass door opens to the back deck with a hot tub. A propane barbecue is available for outside grilling, located steps from the kitchen. A picnic table with a large umbrella is provided for comfortable outdoor seating.

The spacious, open living room/dining room/kitchen includes a propane fireplace. The dining room table accommodates 6 to 8 people, with additional seating at the bar. A short hike from the house takes you to the lower Chilnualna Falls and the swinging bridge. Guests can take the free shuttle bus to the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias (6 miles away). Wawona has the only public horseback riding stables and one of two gas stations in Yosemite. A car is required for transportation.
